Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SubKeep browser extension (“SubKeep”, “Extension”, or “Service”), operated by Stoyan Korudzhiev (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By installing, accessing, or using SubKeep, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the Extension.

1. Description of the Service

SubKeep is a browser extension designed to enhance the user interface of Google Keep by providing additional label management functionality, including nested labels and related interface enhancements.

SubKeep:

  • Uses local browser storage for Google Keep-related configuration;
  • May contact SubKeep account services hosted on Vercel and Cloudflare for verified sign-in, explicit trials, profile activation, checkout, recovery, and billing; account email is delivered through ForwardEmail and payments are handled by Stripe and Link;
  • Does not host Google Keep note content or SubKeep label hierarchy on external servers;
  • Does not replicate or replace Google Keep functionality;
  • Interacts solely with content rendered in the user’s browser session.

SubKeep is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Google LLC. “Google” and “Google Keep” are trademarks of Google LLC.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Extension. By using SubKeep, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Extension complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SubKeep for lawful personal or business purposes.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Extension, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Extension;
  • Redistribute, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit the Extension without our prior written consent;
  • Use the Extension in any manner that violates Google’s Terms of Service or applicable law.

All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by us.

4. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its design, architecture, source code, structure, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by Stoyan Korudzhiev and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Extension.

All third-party trademarks, including those of Google LLC, remain the property of their respective owners.

5. No Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability;
  • Fitness for a particular purpose;
  • Non-infringement;
  • Accuracy, reliability, or availability.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Extension will function without interruption or error;
  • The Extension will remain compatible with Google Keep;
  • The Extension will meet your specific requirements.

Use of the Extension is at your sole risk.

6. Free and Pro Plans

The following offer applies to extension 0.0.7.1 and later. Older clients remain under the behavior included in their installed package until updated. There is no permanent grandfathering. Hotfix 0.0.7.2 gives every profile updating from an earlier version one fresh five-day period beginning after its first successful anonymous registration; fresh installations receive no transition. The server records and signs that deadline, and repeat requests for the same installation return the original period. This transition is separate from the optional account trial.

Free includes ten labels per local Keep workspace, at most two of them nested, and one nesting level below a root. It includes navigation, colors, descriptions, ordinary editing, JSON export, and initial import within the allowance. Pro removes the commercial label-count cap and supports nesting three levels below a root, Labelless Notes, Zen Mode, manual Keep re-import, and validated JSON backup restore. Pro covers up to three active Chrome profiles. Local Google Keep workspaces have independent label allowances.

Free use needs no account. To start a trial, explicitly verify a SubKeep email and choose to start seven days of Pro. No card is required and there is no automatic charge. Sign-in or a website visit does not start the trial. Each verified account receives one trial; reinstalling or changing profiles does not restart it. Install a compatible extension before starting. At expiry, access returns to Free unless another valid entitlement applies.

Pro is EUR 5 per month or EUR 48 billed yearly. Annual saves 20% against twelve monthly payments and must be explicitly selected. Advertised EUR prices include tax; checkout shows any currency conversion and final amount. Subscriptions renew for the selected period until cancelled. Buying during a trial starts the paid subscription immediately rather than waiting for the trial to end. SubKeep depends on Google Keep's interface, and compatibility may change.

New subscriptions use Stripe Managed Payments, sold through Link. Stripe and Link provide checkout, transaction emails, and order management; SubKeep remains responsible for product access and support. Existing subscriptions keep their original billing arrangement. Use verified account billing management to reach the appropriate Link or Stripe management flow. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period unless that period is refunded. A failed renewal may receive a three-day payment-recovery period for a previously paid subscriber before access returns to Free.

You may request a full refund within fourteen days of your initial purchase through your verified account. The request requires explicit confirmation. A pending request is not a completed refund. Once a full refund of the current paid period is confirmed, its paid access ends and future renewal stops. Partial refunds do not by themselves end access. For renewal refunds or exceptions, contact billing@subkeep.fyi or Link support. This product policy does not limit applicable consumer rights or provider policies.

Expiry, cancellation, or refund does not delete, hide, or flatten local labels. Existing organization remains readable, navigable, editable, removable, and exportable. Operations that expand an exceeded Free limit require Pro; maintenance and changes that reduce excess remain possible. Signed offline access can remain valid until its next refresh or bounded expiry. Removing a profile from the account frees its slot but does not remotely erase its labels.

Keep account credentials and existing activation codes private. Existing purchases do not require repurchase. Linking a legacy activation code and accessing financial information require verified ownership; contact billing support if recovery cannot be completed. Signing out of the Website does not cancel a subscription or remove local extension data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Stoyan Korudzhiev be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of business opportunities;
  • Loss of profits;
  • Business interruption;
  • Damages arising from changes to Google Keep’s interface or functionality.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for SubKeep during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Extension is to discontinue use and uninstall it.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension or any part thereof at any time, without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Extension.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Extension after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bulgaria.
